Shell cordovan leather. After several months of looking for a supplier I am very excited to finally be able to offer this leather for sale. Shell cordovan is a very rare and special leather, produced by only two tanneries in the world, and makes a beautiful watch strap. It is a horse hide, tanned by hand over 6 months, and offered here in a lovely dark brown colour which goes perfectly with dark brown thread, or grey stitching for something a little different. Because of the cost of the leather it is a little more expensive than my standard straps, but I think you'll find it is worthwhile. Straps produced with Shell cordovan leather will be approx 3.5mm thick. See all available thread colours. |
